Cherokee Lodge #50 was the Order of the Arrow lodge associated with the Central Alabama Council #2 of the Boy Scouts of America and was headquartered in Birmingham, AL. For a short time, Cherokee was one of three lodges chartered to Greater Alabama Council #1.
Cherokee's lodge totem was the thunderbird (an ivory-billed woodpecker).
In 2000, Cherokee Lodge was merged with Achunanchi Lodge #135 and Kaskanampo Lodge #310 to form Coosa Lodge #50.
Cherokee Lodge was featured in episode #18 of ClothTalk.
