[edit] Historical information
The S6 and S7 were issued to conform to the new National standard for patches, thus it was the first issue with a FDL on the patch.
The design was adapted from the Kaskanampo Lodge P1 neckerchief and was meant to match the Tennessee Valley council CSP in color and general theme. The CSP features a view of the Tennessee River. The S6/S7 features an Indian extracting the meat from a mussel shell along the banks of the Tennessee River. The S6/S7 with the Council CSP were often traded as a set.
The S6 and S7 are often not differentiated by collectors.
[edit] Variations
The S6's and S7's are all very similar to one another and often quite hard to differentiate. This problem is complicated by the fact that minor variations exist for each different patch.
Many collectors argue that the S6/S7 should all be varities of the same patch, rather than two different issues, each with two different variations.
On the S6's there is a space between the trees and the shadows on the upper right side of the patch.

[edit] Tales and trivia
A hatpin was made from the CSP and another from the S6/S7 flap. They are valued by lodge Arrowmen when found as a set. —Mickey Morris Template:Tall-tales
